webdriversettings.properties

The web driver settings file contains the configuration settings used by DASKALOS TestRunner when running test locally, with selenium server, or other on-line testing environments.

The first section of the file contains a key “DEFAULT”. This configuration setting will be used if TestRunner is executed and an environment is not specified.

DEFAULT=ANYCHROME

The value for DEFAULT is the name of a configuration that must be specified in the file.

 

The next section contains some default names and settings. The settings that are used depends on the web driver plug-in that is being used in the test runner configuration file.

The values for the key contains several elements that are comma separated. These values are:

  • Operating system name
  • Operating system version
  • Browser name
  • Browser version
  • Browser size

The settings are used when running automated tests on selenium server and on-line services like BrowserStack. The values used for these fields will vary based on the target location of the selenium grid.
